  2. a few that are fairly popular, and some that are about to appear;

  4. Traveller       GDW    The first SFRPG. Set in a vast interstellar empire.
  5. Mega-Traveller  GDW    Updated rules, set in same empire (now collapsing).
  6. 2300 AD         GDW    Near-future, not set in the Traveller universe.
  7. Star Trek       FASA   Game of the popular TV/Film series.
  8. Space Opera     FGU    Incredibly complex rules, out of print.
  9. Star Frontiers  TSR    Relatively simple, from makers of Dungeons & Dragons.
  10. Warhammer 40000 GW     Squad-level military rules, not a true SFRPG.
  11. Star Wars       WEG    Based on the popular films. Very easy rules.
  12. Ringworld       Cha.   Game of Larry Niven's "Known Space", out of print.
  13. GURPS Space     SJG    Book for GURPS (Generic Universal Role Playing System).
  14. Space 1899      GDW    Game in which Edison discovered space travel!
  15. Judge Dredd     GW     Game of the comic, some space material should appear.
